Verb to be ( is , am , are)
การสร้างประโยคที่มี Verb to be ให้เป็นประโยคปฏิเสธ.มีวิธีการดังนี้
เติม not ลงไปในตำแหน่งที่เรียงต่อจาก Verb to be หลัง is am are เช่น
*He is not in the room.
*I am not a child.
*They are not teachers.
*Suda is not reading.
หมายเหตุ รูปย่อของ ปฏิเสธ Verb to be คือ is not ย่อเป็น isn’t
am not จะไม่ใช้รูปย่อ are not ย่อเป็น aren’t
การทำประโยคที่มี Verb to be ให้เป็นประโยคคำถาม Yes No Question มีหลักการดังนี้
เอา Verb to be มาวางหน้าประโยค และเอาประธานของประโยคมาวางเรียงต่อจากVerb to be
หลังจบประโยค ต้องใส่เครื่องหมายคำถาม เช่น
He is in the room. เปลี่ยนเป็น Is he in the room ?
They are soldiers เปลี่ยนเป็น Are they soldiers?
I am a boy. เปลี่ยนเป็น Am I a boy ?
